These strange fish have captured the imagination for centuries. They share a Latin name with the King of the Greek Gods and the strange spot on their sides is said to have been made by John the Baptist’s finger. Their big mouths make them look like aliens, but they taste delicious. Our beautiful, watercolour illustration captures the weirdness of the John Dory’s looks in classic blue and white.
