What material are your tea towels made of?
Our tea towels are made for us in Cornwall from a 100% cotton wide weave linen. They are dyed with water based inks that are more environmentally friendly than the traditional alternatives.
Where are your bamboo fibre products made?
We love bamboo and we use it in a number of products. It is made for us in China in a factory close to where the bamboo grows. The factory also makes for The Eden Project in Cornwall and has passed our and their exacting environmental standards.
What is a Beach Sheet exactly?
Our beautiful Beach Sheets are made from 100% cotton and are often referred to as Hamman Towels. They are made for us in a family run factory in Turkey.
Are your products Made In England?
We make things in the UK where we can. That means that all our linens, cushions, fine bone china, placemats, prints and frames are made in the UK. Where we cannot get things made here we find great suppliers in the appropriate places. So our Beach Sheets are made by a family run factory in Turkey, our Director's Chairs are made with beech grown in sustainable forests in Poland and our bamboo products are made close to where the bamboo grows in China. We don't like to make false claims about our range so we don't shout about products being made in the UK when there is a chance that a component has in fact been manufactured outside of the UK.
