All our placemats are hand-made and as such, incur a great many minor imperfections in the process. These might include tiny marks or mottling. And in some cases some dust under the laminate. Our imperfect placemats are as popular as the perfect versions available here. None of the slight faults prevents them from being successfully used as a placemat - and if your eyesight is as bad as ours you may not even see the fault.
